Man stabbed in Roanoke

Roanoke City Police say they're searching for whomever stabbed a man early on Tuesday morning.

Officers tell us they found 34-year-old Marcelo Diaz-Gonzalez around 1:12 a.m., in the 800 block of Westside Boulevard. Police say he had been stabbed.

Diaz-Gonzalez told officers that he and the person who stabbed him know each other, but he would not cooperate further with the police investigation.

Rescue crews took Diaz-Gonzalez to Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
