Liberty University cancels class on Election Day to encourage students to vote

Liberty University is encouraging students' to exercise their rights.
They announced today classes will be cancelled on Election Day so students can vote. The registrar says more than half of the eligible voters on campus are registered to vote.
Chancellor Jerry Falwell Jr. hopes for a good turnout in November and in the spring City Council elections.
He says a strong turnout will force council to focus on issues affecting the Christian community.
