Gil and Dan Harrington are trying to stay strong for their daughter, but as time passes the reality of their daughter's disappearance becomes more painful

There is an empty room in the Harrington's house. Morgan Harrington, 20, was supposed to come home to her room Sunday, but never made it.

"There is a very empty place, a Morgan-shaped place in our hearts as well as our home right now," Morgan’s mother Gil Harington said.

Gil and Dan Harrington are trying to stay strong for their daughter, but as time passes, the reality of their daughter's disappearance becomes more painful.

"You never thought you'd be sitting in this place in a thousand, thousand years," Gil Harrington said.

"We just want Morgan to come home safely, so we have our baby back," Dan Harrington said.

There are reminders everywhere of Morgan -- her artwork on the walls, a Metallica poster in her room, and her math book in her suitcase.

Her parents say some of their last memories of Morgan were from the house.

"She came here to get ready for this concert that she was excited about,” Gil Harrington said. “She tried on the three outfits she had whittled it down to, and we made a selection [of which] one was the best."

The Harrington's say they have spoken with Morgan's friends who went with her to see Metallica Saturday night. Her parents still aren't sure why she left the concert. They say Morgan's friends waited around for her for several hours after the concert before they drove back to Harrisonburg where they were staying.

As police continue their search in Charlottesville, a yellow bow hangs from a tree outside the Harrington's home.

It's a sign of hope -- hope the Harrington's refuse to let go of as they pray someone will come forward with information about their daughter.

“We just want Morgan to be brought back safely,” Dan Harrington said.

Morgan is a vivacious, intelligent, beautiful young woman and has much more to offer the world. We want her to get a chance to get it out there," Gil Harrington said. "Bring her home to us. Please."

If you have information, call UVA police at (434) 924-7166. They say they are following up on the many tips coming into them. They are also asking people who have video or pictures of the crowd at the concert to review them to see if anyone resembles Morgan.
