Salem man charged with holding pregnant woman hostage, beating her with bible

A Salem man is charged with holding a pregnant woman hostage for five house, and at one point beating her with a bible.

Joshua Reiley is charged with kidnapping, aggravated assault, and three counts of sexual assault.

The victim told police that Reiley held her in his mobile home for five hours back on October 16th. She told investigators that she got away by running out of the back door.

Reiley is being held in the Roanoke County-Salem Jail.
