Roanoke County Police are investigating an armed robbery at a local pharmacy.
It happened early Tuesday morning, at the Walgreens on Brambleton Avenue.
Police say an employee told them that a woman, claiming to have a weapon, came into the store and handed the pharmacist a note demanding some prescriptions. She ended up leaving with some of the medications.
