The driver of a tractor-trailer is ok after driving his big rig though a guardrail on Route 220 south Tuesday evening.
State police tell WSLS the truck is registered in California and that the driver said he lost control.
The truck ended up down an embankment about two miles south of Rocky Mount.
State police are investigating.
There's no word on any charges in the crash.
