The National Rifle Association has endorsed 6th District Delegate Anne Crockett-Stark (R-Wythe Co.) in her re-election campaign.
The gun rights group cited Delegate Crockett-Stark's record in the House for their endorsement. According to a news release, NRA Virginia State Liaison Andrew Jennison noted, “Your exemplary record of past service in the Virginia House of Delegates clearly illustrates your commitment to protecting the rights of law-abiding firearm owners and sportsmen.”
“Our campaign is very excited to once again earn the endorsement of the NRA,” Crockett-Stark said in a news release. “Second Amendment rights are very important to the people of this district and I’m proud that our campaign has received its third NRA endorsement in as many elections,” she added.
“The Second Amendment is a bedrock right guaranteed in the foundation of the U.S. Constitution. We will continue to work to make sure this most basic of personal liberty is protected,” Crockett-Stark said in the release.
Crockett-Stark has served the 6th District since 2005. She faces Democrat Carole Pratt in the general election in November.
