ROANOKE - Roanoke Neo Nazi Bill White could be back home by Christmas.
A federal judge sentenced White this afternoon to 30 months in federal prison.
Due to the fact he's already served almost 18 months in jail and federal law requires inmates to serve 85% of their sentences, White may have only eight months left to serve, according to his attorneys.
White chose not to address the court when given the opportunity by the judge.
"He never apologized for what he did and look at all the lives that he disrupted," said Roanoke NAACP president Brenda Hale. "There's always the possibility when he gets out [of prison] that he will continue his disruptive ways," she said.
The judge told White he hoped White had learned a lesson from this federal prosecution.
White's lead attorney, David Damico, called the sentence "a victory" since the judge could've given White more than three decades in prison.
Prosecutors asked White serve between 57 to 71 months, a request the judge denied.
White asked to serve the remainder of his sentence at a prison camp in Beckley, West Virginia.
Once released, he will be on supervised probation for three years.
Part of White's probation includes a ban on using the Internet for business or hobbies such as blogging.
As a convicted felon, White will never be allowed to carry a gun again.
Prosecutors said they were pleased with the sentencing.
Court records show White intends to appeal his three remaining convictions.
For the past two to three months, court records also show White has been doing some work on his case, filing several motions in his own defense.

ROANOKE -- We are waiting to learn how long Roanoke self-proclaimed Neo-Nazi, Bill White will spend behind bars.
He was convicted of three counts of making threats to harm people and one count of intimidation back in December.
In February, a Judge threw out one of the threat convictions.
White faces up to 30 years in prison.
His attorney, David Damico told WSLS in December, that he hopes the Judge will take into consideration, the fact that White has been in jail for more than a year, waiting to be sentenced. "He's been in jail for over a year at this point and we hope to be able to convince Judge Turk that that's enough time for him to have served on for these crimes."
White is expected to be sentenced this afternoon.
