Another round of Christmas parades will move through towns across the area this weekend.
Friday, floats will move through the streets of Roanoke for the second weekend of Dickens of a Christmas. The parade kicks off at 6:30 with mostly clear conditions and temperatures near 39. Temperatures drop back to 35 by 8 p.m.
Also on Friday night is the Christiansburg parade. With mostly clear conditions, look for temperatures at 31 at 7 p.m. dropping to 28 by 9 p.m.
Two parades take place at 3 p.m. in the New River Valley, Wytheville and Floyd. Temperatures will be in the mid 40s with mostly cloudy conditions.
Also on Saturday afternoon, Buchanan joins in the holiday cheer with a 4 p.m. parade. Mostly cloudy conditions are expected with temperatures at 46 at 4 p.m. dropping back to 42 by 6 p.m.
Saturday evening, brings another parade, this one in Danville. Conditions will be mostly cloudy and chilly with temperatures at 49 at 6 p.m. as the parade begins, dropping back to 44 by 8 p.m.
