WSLS talked with a man who was inside the Hardees when the crash happened, and regularly eats there.
Larry Firebaugh told us, "It was just a loud explosion, I thought one of the windows had fallen out. We usually eat along this side, bunch of us old fellows. So this morning, we happened to be in another section. So we are just sitting there talking and all of the sudden we hear a big explosion. (Pause) Look over and there's a BMW sitting in the window."
