ROANOKE - Rocky Mount is in Congressman Tom Perriello's (D-5th) district.
His congressional spokeswoman Jessica Barba tells WSLS that Rep. Perriello will submit a statement to the Congressional record in honor of Danny Altice and Posey Dillon. Also, Rep. Perriello has had two flags flown over the U.S. Capitol Building that will be sent to the firefighters' families.

ROCKY MOUNT - One of the firefighters in Rocky Mount invited me to a special ceremony at the crash scene.
Two fire engines pulled up, and five firefighters got out. They placed a flower arrangement at near the intersection. The ribbon on it reads "We love you chief, and uncle Danny."
Also, I've learned that a local landscaping company has donated its time to help fix-up the area in and around the Rocky Mount Fire Department, after the large number of people expected for the visitation on Thursday evening.
