HENRY CO. - Henry County Sheriff's deputies are investigating what caused a dog to attack a woman.
Officers say a pit bull/dalmatian mix attacked 78-year-old Mary Gravely just before 6:30 p.m. on Hobson Road Monday.
Deputies tell us Gravely has severe cuts on both forearms, her face, and left leg. She's been taken to Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem.
The dog has been quarantined.
Deputies say Gravely was out walking when the attack happened, and she knows the dog and its owner.
No charges had been filed as of Tuesday evening.
