DANVILLE - A car crashed through the front window at the Old Dutch supermarket Wednesday at about 12:30 p.m.
Danville police and firefighters responded to the scene to find the front of the vehicle in the store, facing the cash registers.
Cpl. E.L. Ellis said an 83-year-old woman was slowing down to park at the store when her foot slipped off the brake and hit the accelerator, sending her vehicle through the window.
Ellis said no one was hurt and charges have not been filed against the driver.
