ROANOKE -- One local group spreads diversity in a new way.
About 70 people braved the rainy weather for the first annual Roanoke Bridge Walk.
The purpose is to show peace and diversity in the Roanoke Valley.
Participants walked across downtown bridges along the railroad tracks to spread unity.
Roanoke City Schools Superintendent Rita Bishop was a guest speaker at the event.
