CAMPBELL CO. - Police write 31 traffic tickets at a regional checkpoint Wednesday afternoon.

The Central Virginia Highway Traffic Safety Board kicked off the "Click It or Ticket" campaign on the Monacan Bridge heading from Amherst County into Campbell County.

Officer, deputies and troopers from Lynchburg and Bedford cities, Amherst and Campbell Counties and State Police took part.

In addition to writing tickets, they also made one felony and one misdemeanor arrest.
