America’s Got Talent may have saved the best for last Tuesday night. Fighting Gravity started with three guys spray painting on the familiar glow in the dark dancers.
It was just the beginning to an unforgettable performance, where they used more color and props. The X Games had nothing on the fraternity brothers from Virginia Tech, as they did some incredible skateboard tricks.
"You are one of my favorite acts, if not my favorite act. You did it. You brought it home. You are headliners,” said Judge Howie Mandel.
From the floating yellow balls being tossed into the crowd, to leader Gregg Curtin revealing his glowing eyes, Fighting Gravity impressed even hard to please judge Piers Morgan.
"It's so fresh. I thought how are you going to make this better each time, but you do. You come back. It's always original. It feels bigger and better,” said Morgan.
Judge Sharon Osbourne even said they're act is made for the stage.
"You're act is so cool and I think what you do is for all age groups. I mean you performing in Vegas or where ever, you will pull in huge audiences because it's so diverse and people would appreciate what you do,” said Osbourne.
When the lights came up, everyone in the room gave them a standing ovation... only the second one of the night. Then Howie and Piers begged America to vote for Fighting Gravity.
"I hope that people vote. There are so many good acts. If they don't vote you'll go home. You don't deserve to go home. You deserve to stay all the way to the end,” said Mandel.
"The American public have got to vote for an act like you because you are world class talent so they've got to vote. We've got to see you in the top ten,” said Morgan.
We'll find out Wednesday night on America's Got Talent if the "world class talent" from Southwest Virginia, survives elimination and makes the top ten.
