Three members of Fighting Gravity sit on a set at Universal Studios in Hollywood with some of the other finalist on America's Got Talent. I got do some Q and A with them for a satellite interview.
Jarett Henshaw: Fighting Gravity how did you come up with last week's act with the skate boards?
Fighting Gravity: "The skateboard idea just kind of came from all 13 of us just bouncing ideas around and just tried to come up with something new and exciting and fresh and it seemed to work really well."
JH: What does it feel like for you guys being in the top 10 of the show, getting really close to having a shot at that million dollars?
FG: "It's been an amazing feeling. It's really kind of unreal right now, but all thirteen of us are working so hard. We never thought it would get this big. It's been an unbelievable experience and we still need someone to wake us up.”
JH: How hard has it getting ready for the show?
FG: "We're under a serious time crunch. Usually we'll have two to three weeks to put an act together, but lately we've only had 4 to 5 days to really turn over...We think it has a lot of potential to be great."
JH: What would you say to your fans here in Southwest Virginia?
FG: "Thanks for the support and we love everyone in our little nook of Southwest Virginia and go Hokies."
JH: After last week's amazing performance, what do they have planned for tonight?
FG: "We can't really give away too much but what we can say is it's going to be out of this world."
Out of this world? Sounds like a hint! Could we see spaceships or aliens or some kind of fighting gravity light saber duel? The possibilities are endless.
If you want to see them on next week's finale for the one million dollar grand prize, be sure to tune in and vote for Fighting Gravity.
