The 'To Our Home' shelter will be closing until next winter. The shelter was opened late last year to serve homeless men in the New River Valley.
Organizers tell us there was a great need, with nearly 30 guys using the shelter. It was relocated throughout the winter months to 30 some churches in the New River Valley, and some 80 volunteers helped out.
New River Community Action, who headed up the shelter, tells us there are already plans to have the shelter again next winter.
