Three local hospitals make a national list of the "most wired" hospitals in the country.
A survey by Hospitals and Health Networks named Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Centra Health in Lynchburg, and the Salem VA Medical Center as three of the 28 "most wired" hospitals in Virginia.
The survey looked at how hospitals use information technology to help doctors and patients.
