Giles County Ten Commandments vote expected this afternoon

»  Comments | Post a Comment

The Giles County School Board is expected to vote on a proposal this afternoon, that would put the Ten Commandments back-up in all county schools, as part of a display on historical douments.

The display would include eight other documents, including the Bill of Rights.

The ACLU and the Freedom From Religion Foundation both said last week, that if the commandments are reposted in any way, they would pursue a lawsuit.

The School Board meets at 4 p.m.  WSLS's Ken Heineck will be at the meeting, and bring you an update on WSLS at 6 p.m.
