Montgomery County officers say they've cracked the case of a series of "peeping Tom" incidents stretching back to June of 2010.
The Sheriff's Office said Friday, that it had charged 34-year-old Christopher Walrond, of Christiansburg, with 13 counts of "peeping or spying into an occupied dwelling."
Investigators believe Walrond targeted the south Blacksburg area mainly. Blacksburg Police arrested Walrond on September 23, and charged him with peeping.
Following the arrest, Blacksburg and Christiansburg Police began a joint investigation. That investigation led to the above charges, as well as the following charged filed by Christiansburg Police:
Peeping into an occupied dwelling
Breaking and entering
Grand larceny,
Unlawfully videotaping a child under the age of 14
Walrond is being held at the Montgomery County Jail without bond.
