CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. -- A Christiansburg woman is in the hospital after being struck by a train Sunday night.
According to police, the 38-year-old was hit just before 6:00pm while walking her dog near Railroad Street.
She was taken to Lewis Gale Hospital at Montgomery.
Authorities are not releasing her name or the severity of her injuries at this time.
Norfolk Southern is investigating the accident.
