Randolph College will partner with the Alzheimer’s Association to host a free training and information session on Arts Fusion, a new, free program designed to benefit those affected by Alzheimer’s. The training will be held at the Maier on Feb. 13 from 1:30-3 p.m.
The new program uses artwork to help stimulate conversation between people with Alzheimer’s and their caregivers and is de-signed to offer a therapeutic benefit by integrating the creative and healing arts into the lives of those affected by memory loss. Care-givers, health professionals and others are invited to attend the session to learn more about the program, which is based on a similar program at the Museum of Modern Art.
