The Western Virginia Water Authority (WVWA) will close York Road between Brandon Avenue and Laburnum Avenue beginning on Monday, Feb. 13. WVWA will be rehabilitating a 450-foot section of sewer main and seven sewer laterals with three new sewer manholes planned for installation. Daily work hours are scheduled from 7 a.m.
to 5 p.m. Access to residences will remain open but may be limited at times, with York Road re-opening each evening. Work is expected to be completed by the week of March 12.
WVWA will furnish, place, maintain and remove all signs, barricades, etc. related to this closure. A detour will not be established.
