»  Comments | Post a Comment

Doctors were still working Wednesday to determine the extent of the injuries of a Lynchburg man stabbed in the neck earlier in the morning.

Lamar Miller, 21, was stabbed around 1 a.m. at a home in the 1200 block of Pierce Street. Ebony Monteya Brown, 28, was arrested and charged with malicious wounding.

Lynchburg Police Detective Collin Byrne said the blade clipped the man’s spine.

Police did not discuss motive, but noted Miller and Brown knew each other.

Brown was held at the Lynchburg Adult Detention Center without bond.
