Officers found Nathan in a parking lot.
He will go back under the care of Social Services.

Roanoke City Police tell me the Nathan Mailliard has been found safe, not far from his foster home.

Roanoke City Police tell WSLS they believe Mailliard either walked off, or ran off from his foster care home.
Nathan's foster care family says the 16-year-old has not been in the area very long, and doesn't not know it well.
So far, police have not received any tips about Nathan's location.

Roanoke Police are searching for 16-year-old Nathan Mailliard.
Officers tell WSLS Nathan disappeared on Tuesday evening, from the 2300 block of Delaware Avenue.
Police say Mailliard has cognitive delay, and routinely takes medication.
He is described as:
- About 6 ft. tall
- Weighs 170 lbs.
- Blue eyes
- Brown hair
Anyone with information on Mailliard's whereabouts are asked to call Roanoke City Police at (540) 853-5959.
