Gleaning for the World reaches more than a half-billion dollars in humanitarian aid.
The non-profit organization celebrated the milestone, as they shipped off a truck load of supplies to El Salvador.
"We are honored and humbled to reach this tremendous milestone," said Ron Davidson, founder of the organization.
Gleaning for the World has been open for 13 years. Davidson says he never imagined it would grow to where it is today.
"There's no way to fathom what's happened in the first 13 years and what's going to happen in the next 13 years," said Davidson.
Since 1998, the organization has sent out more than 2,500 loads of supplies. In 2011, they helped 18 countries and 14 states in the U.S.
