A woman was taken to Lynchburg General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries after she was struck by a car in the parking lot of the Joy Foods Store in Altavista on Sunday afternoon.
The Campbell County Sheriff’s Department said the incident occurred at about 2 p.m., but did not release the name of either the injured woman or the driver of the car, a juvenile.
