Perriello announces REVIVAL plan

    The man running against longtime congressman Virgil Goode announces his plan to bring more jobs to Southside and Central Virginia.
    It’s called R.E.V.I.V.A.L., and Tom Perriello believes it will help bring economic relief to families in places like Martinsville and Henry County.
    Perriello is the fifth district democratic nominee running against Goode, who is now a republican.
    Martinsville, which just last week lost 400 jobs, is his first of many stops.
    “Now we want to road test it, so we’re going out to all 22 counties to make sure what I’m focused on is in fact the best ideas for the district,“ Perriello said.
    Perriello will be Martinsville again tomorrow and in Bedford later this week.
