Perriello rolls out energy plan in Rocky Mount

Congressman Tom Perriello rolls out his new clean energy plan Friday in Rocky Mount at the Gereau Center.

Perriello says the 5th district has everything it needs to become the nationwide leader in clean energy.  He says the location is right because of the abundance of farmland.  He was joined by farmers and entrepreneurs who are already making bio diesel from crops and building energy efficient houses.

Perriello says the time is right because there is stimulus money available for investments in clean energy.
