Salem Farmers Market open on Sundays

If you want fresh fruits and vegetables, you now have an extra day to do some shopping.
The Salem Farmers Market will now be open on Sundays.
People took advantage of it, lining up to get all the best tomatoes, peppers, and other veggies.
“Vendors are welcome from Roanoke City to come down and try us out. And all vendors are welcome, and we’re just hoping it will be a year-round thing,“ said Alice Austin, manager at the market.
On Sundays, the maket will be open from noon to 5 p.m. From Monday through Saturday, it’s open from dawn to dusk.
