Tomorrow marks the second anniversary of the Virginia Tech shootings.

Today, many students and employees spent the day preparing and setting up for the remembrance events planned on campus.

One event that will have a huge crowd is the 3.2 mile run in remembrance of the 32 victims.

It starts tomorrow at 8 a.m.

Nearly 3,000 people have registered.

Volunteers like John McBrien spent a good part of the day putting signs together and learning their assignment.

“For me, I’m doing everything I can to prepare for tomorrow and making sure I put on the best event possible,“ said McBrien.
