Jason Williams earns Kiwanis Club’s Henry Lee memorial scholarship

A local high school student will receive some help to pay for college, from a scholarship named to remember one of the 32 victims of the April 16th tragedy.

The Kiwanis Club awarded Jason Williams its Henry Lee memorial scholarship on Wednesday. Jason will be going to Virginia Tech in the fall.

Five other students also received scholarships at Wednesday’s meeting.
