Two missing girls in Danville found okay, mom arrested

10-year-old Pepper McCadden and 12-year-old India Lovelace are missing. Police believe they are with their mother, Jennifer Westscott, who does not have custody of the girls. If you see them, please call 911.

Danville Polce tell us that 10-year-old Pepper McCadden and 12-year-old India Lovelace have been found safe at a home on Beavers Mill Road.
Investigators tell us they got a tip from a neighbor who claimed to have seen Jennifer Westscott at the home.
Police went to the door but no one would answer, so they went to obtain a search warrant.
Around 9:30 p.m. police tell us they were able to get the kids out safely.

Jennifer Westscott was taken into custody and is charged abduction.

Danville Police say two girls were taken by force this afternoon around 3:15 p.m. from their bus stop on the 500 block of Keen Street by their mother.
Police say, the girls’ paternal grandmother has custody of the two children and witnessed their mother, 43-year-old Jennifer Westscott force the girls into a van and drive off.
The van is a 2000 Plymoyth with Virginia license plates XTY-6374 and is white.
Police have attempted to contact Westscott for several hours with no results.
Danville Police say The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has been contacted and an AMBER ALERT issued. 
However, State Police who normally issue an AMBER ALERT tell 10 On Your Side they have not been notified.

Police say she is autistic.
12-year-old India Lovelace was last seen wearing black pants, green shirt, and a red coat.
The police department has issued warrents for Westscott for parental abduction.
