Danville Police investigate deadly stabbing

Danville Police say they’re investigating a case of a woman found stabbed to death.

Officers say the woman was found dead in an apartment in the 400 block of Audubon Drive, around 9:25 a.m. this morning (Tuesday, April 22nd).

Investigators say Precious Saunders had been stabbed multiple times.

Police sent Saunders’ body to the medical examiner’s office in Roanoke for an autopsy.
