Drug arrest round-up in Halifax County/South Boston

30 people were arrested and charged with 156 charges in the Halifax/South Boston area Thursday. The Halifax/South Boston Regional Narcotics and Gang Task Force conducted the round-up with local, state, and federal police. 30 people were arrested on various warrants and indictments. The operation was a collaborative effort between the U.S. Marshalls, State Police, Halifax County Sheriff’s Office, South Boston Police Department, Prince Edward County’s Sheriff’s Office, Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, Farmville Police Department, Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office, and Department of Corrections.
The 30 individuals are:

Police also seized two vehicles, along with marijuana and cocaine.
Additional charges are pending. The investigation is still going on and more arrests could be made soon.
