Police in Danville are investigating two separate gas station robberies.

The first happened around 11:45 Wednesday night at the West Main Fas-Mart.  Police say two men entered the store wearing ski masks and dark clothing. Both were carrying guns, but only one of them pointed his weapon at the clerk and demanded money.  Both left after stealing an unknown amount of cash.  A witness claims to have seen the suspects run down Withers Road toward Manchester Square Apartments.

The second robbery happened around 12:50 Thursday morning at the Airport Exxon on South Boston Road.  According to the clerk, in this incident, three armed suspects entered the store wearing ski masks, black coats, and black gloves.  One suspect made his way behind the counter and attempted to break into the safe.  When the clerk said he did not have access, another suspect threw a beer can at his head.  An unknown amount of money was taken before the suspects got away.

If you have any information about either of these incidents, please call Danville Crimestoppers at (434) 793-0000.
