10’s Most Wanted: Marcella Martin captured

The U.S. Marshals service released additional information about the arrest of Marcella Martin Thursday.

Marshals say their agents and Roanoke City Police tracked Martin to Pittsburgh through a lead.

Then while Deputy U.S. Marshals conducted surveillance in Pittsburgh, agents say they saw Martin in a car with her mother. Deputies followed the car to where Martin’s mother lives, surrounded it, and went in to search for Martin.

Deputies found Martin hiding under a bed, and arrested her.

A 10’s Most Wanted success.

Roanoke Police say U.S. Marshals have arrested Marcella Martin in Pittsburgh.

Martin is wanted in connection with the 2004 murder of her boyfriend, Lonnie Marsh.

Police found Marsh’s body in a room at the American Motel on Williamson Road, back on December 20, 2004. Investigators say Marsh had been stabbed.

10 On Your Side did a story on the search for Martin just two weeks ago.
