Super Big Super Bowl

Well, we were fortunate enough to make our Super Bowl budget and to fill the big game up with sponsors.  Some of the commercials you will see are the same folks you have seen in a lot of other big ticket type of events in the Valley before.  Others are brand new to the game.  It’s an exciting night and it’s one of the few places advertisers can go to communicate their message to the really massive masses.

Lots of people will be watching.

Here’s how the Super Bowl Quandry ended…we made a counter offer to that last advertiser and they took the deal.  Not ten minutes later we had THREE other people who wanted in (at the counteroffer price amount) so either way we could have had it work out just fine.  The problem is, you never know and in this economy you really don’t.

As an aside, I saw something else I have never seen before.  We have a client who has purchased one second worth of time in the game…what a riot!  The commercial is going to run here in Roanoke/Lynchburg/New River Valley at around 9pm - early in the fourth quarter!  Check it out and let me know what you think.
