Super Bowl Quandry

The big game is two weeks away and we have one commercial left.

Earlier today we received what I would consider to be a low ball offer.  The economy is what it is, yet the Super Bowl is still the primary way to reach a gigantic audience in the Roanoke Valley.  Do we take the offer and move on or do we say “No Thanks” and wait for someone else to buy the last commercial?  The risk if we say no is that no one else comes along and we leave that commercial unsold.  Typically last minute advertisers will offer more for those last few commercials because they want to be in the game.  This year is different and another - better - offer may never materialize.

It’s a tough decision.

We make lots of them—- so do you I bet.  Most of you are in business and you have similar issues you face.  What would you do?  YOU MAKE THE CALL.

I’ll tell you what we decided to do and how it worked out after the Super Bowl Trophy has been awarded (hopefully to the Eagles since they are my team since the early 1970’s).
