Christmas in the sun

I spent Christmas in the sun… in the warmth… in Florida. Before the trip, I was excited about being with family but a bit unsure about being in something other than cold weather during Christmas. But after all the cold we have been dealing with in the last few weeks… I was ready to fly south for part of the winter.

Being in the the 70’s and 80’s was great!! I think it finally cured me of the cough I’ve been dealing with for the last six weeks too!! Even better, Christmas dinner—SEAFOOD!!! I think from now on I will keep the Turkey for Thanksgiving and begin a seafood tradition for Christmas. Yumm!!!

At least the weather was good to us when we returned. I’ve been able to ease back into winter!!
