Creating your own hardcover cookbook

I must have hundreds of recipes cards, sheets of paper, even post it notes with recipes jotted down. Some are recipes I found on the food network, others are pulled from magazines or from friends. They come from everywhere and they take up a bit of space.. Not to mention those sheets of pages don’t hold up very well.

I think I may have just found a solution though!! I got this month’s copy of Consumer Report’s ShopSmart magazine this morning. It had a short blurb on a website called Tastebook that lets you “create a beautiful hardcover book with your own recipes and photos.“ It even lets you add recipes from sites like the food network, which it partners with.

I went to the website this morning. It looks very cool. There’s a great instructional video that shows you how it works. You can pick your own cover design, book title and include your name on the front. There’s even a way you can write your own dedication on the inside. Very cool and seemingly very easy.

I can’t wait to get started!!
