One bride, four dresses

The conversation started off innocently enough. A friend of mine—who shall remain anonymous for the purpose of this blog—asked me, “When you saw your wedding dress, did you know it was ‘the one’”? She then went on to tell me how she picked out her dress for her big day soon after she got engaged. Now a few months before her wedding, she has three more gowns!!

Over several months she kept ending up at bridal shops, kept finding “the one” and kept buying another gown, and another and another non-returnable gown. I can’t recall whether it is dress one, two, three or four that’s currently at the top of her “wear on my wedding day list” but needless to say, she doesn’t plan on needing the other three in this lifetime.

So if you are a bride or know someone who already has something old, something borrowed, something blue and you like something new with a deal… I know someone with at least three dresses for you to choose from. Maybe you’ll have even more options if she keeps shopping!
