Resolution Time
Happy New Year everyone. So, how many of you made resolutions this year? I count myself the category of a resolution maker. I feel like it’s a good time to assess life and fix what’s not working. So, here are a couple of my resolutions for 2009.
1) Lose 15 pounds. I don’t know where the weight came from, but it arrived in about 5 weeks. In an instant my suits went from comfortable to uncomfortably tight and in some cases unwearable. I’ve already hit gym and the health aisle of the grocery store. This is one resolution I have to keep.
2) Read at least two books a month. It seems small. In fact I should be aiming for four a month. But, life gets so busy I can easily get distracted and realize I’ve gone weeks and read nothing but news websites, the newspaper and scripts.
3) Take one big trip to another county each year. This is a multi-year resolution to broaden my horizons. Already this year I’ll be hitting a couple of countries in Central America as part of a cruise. I also hope to make a trip to Sweden and Norway this summer.
