Please be patient when performing searches that will return many results, such as searching for all crimes in a given time period, or several months' worth of a specific crime.
For all areas except Danville, address numbers are block numbers, not necessarily specific building numbers. Therefore, all map points should be considered to be approximate, not exact.
Danville Police do not release block address numbers with crime reports, so Danville crimes cannot be plotted on the map.
Each entry shows an incident where police filed a report. Not all incidents end in arrests.
The database is updated when police publish the latest crime information, which varies by locality. However, a lag time of two to three weeks is typical, so searching for crimes that happened last week may not produce results.
