2 arrested in Roanoke County robbery

Roanoke County Police say some citizens helped them chase down two purse snatching suspects.

Officers tell us the pair forcibly sole a woman purse in the Cave Spring Corners area off of Brambleton Avenue around 3:15 p.m. on Monday.

Some people who saw the purse snatching chased the two, caught a 16-year-old boy, and held him until officers arrived.

Police then searched the nearby woods, and found 22-year-old Jerimiah King hiding there.

Both King and the 16-year-old are charged with robbery.
