2 charged with murder in death of Covington 2-year-old

A 10 On Your Side update to the investigation of the death of a child in Covington last year. Covington Police say they’ve charged a man and woman with murder, in connection with the death of a 2-year-old back in January of 2008.
Investigators say on Sunday, January 20, 2008, Covington emergency dispatch received a call around 5:30 p.m., asking for help for a 2-year-old girl who was unresponsive.
Covington Rescue Squad members took the child, now identified as Lakin Brown, to Alleghany Regional Hospital. Doctors say the child died.
Covington Police say an Alleghany County grand jury indicted Jeffrey Ailstock and Katrina Hyler on felony homicide, as well as family abuse and neglect of children charges.
Both Ailstock and Hyler are being held at the Alleghany Regional Jail.

i don’t give a crap what the court papers say. I know that that baby was with her grandmother and was given back to that piece of trash crackwhore!!! I remember the day my mom called crying telling me about the baby being killed. About how both legs were broke!! I am going to do my best to make sure everyone in Salem and Covington and anywhere else that tramp goes, exactly what she let happen to her baby!!! Just the thought of how that baby must have felt makes me cringe. And the idea of how Katrina and Jeffery will feel when they are being raped and sodomized in jail gives me complete joy. I am a christian and I believe in forgiveness, but I also believe in an eye for an eye!!! So dart defend all you want it will not change what is going to happen in the end!!!!!!

I can’t keep my mouth shut anymore!!! My mom new that babies Grandmother who had custody for awhile before social service sent her back and this is after they knew she was being sexually abused!!! Jeffery raped that baby!!! Katrina knew it was going on and let it happen!! So yes she is as guilty as they come!! She loves a child molester!! She picked that monster over her baby!!!
