2 charged with murder in death of Covington 2-year-old

A 10 On Your Side update to the investigation of the death of a child in Covington last year. Covington Police say they’ve charged a man and woman with murder, in connection with the death of a 2-year-old back in January of 2008.
Investigators say on Sunday, January 20, 2008, Covington emergency dispatch received a call around 5:30 p.m., asking for help for a 2-year-old girl who was unresponsive.
Covington Rescue Squad members took the child, now identified as Lakin Brown, to Alleghany Regional Hospital. Doctors say the child died.
Covington Police say an Alleghany County grand jury indicted Jeffrey Ailstock and Katrina Hyler on felony homicide, as well as family abuse and neglect of children charges.
Both Ailstock and Hyler are being held at the Alleghany Regional Jail.

i want go to jailfor nothing it not who you think it is you can keep on saying and puting stuff on here about you and here but i only know what in the court papers pulled up on the computer an yea am going to go with this becaues its not them ether one or any of them this only shows you have a proplem not sure what it is but dont want to know you are so hook on thinking its them next door like i said ill prove it to you in time

vamtngal shes trying to say everything but the facts but the facts are she was indicted on 2nd degree homicide by the police in covington,I guess they did that for no reason,Yeah the police arrest people for possibly murdering their kids by accident huh?If thats your defense then you havent got anything,I cant believe she is having another baby somepeople should be court ordered to not reproduce after things like this have happened.She took one life and now she just keeps trying to make a replacement is how it looks..do you really think it was about her welfare she gets and foodstamps allotment for keepin on havin kids?Thats just the lowest thing I have ever heard about a mother.I bet shes real glad tax time is coming just around the corner so all of her People will be there for her with money to pay off the lawyers she will need .Like I said,shes bringing her family down with her with no regard for anyone else.She keeps pickin on me but I wasnt the first or only to express how outraged I was ,she has reasons behind that but really shes just hiding behind the truth ..like I asked earlier,how does a person like that even live with theirselves?

i was on here and would say anything about taking up for her hurting a child but the reson that i have said anything to the scared or just the facks is she has said things that not to the case or stuff that just not so she was saying it was in the news and it wasnt she could not say where and how its got where its got now they payed a cop off people like that lives on trying to make it work the way thay want it to work in there head and realy bad when thay got some thing to do in there past agast them and yes that what i been saying it will be in court and be face with this crime and its not up to this person to think she can tril her here it take a lot of time to get charges and they got to have the stuff to charge them thy just cant say you done it and just send you to jail thats why we have rights for this donsent mean anything about taking up for anyone it just means that i understand why it takes a while donsent mean that your guilty becaues somebody wants to think that your not guilty untill proven in the curt of law and she might be but its not up to any of us here or anywhere just in the eyes of the law and somebody like this thats on here dont understand that
