    A boy is hospitalized after being hit by a car in Roanoke City.
    Roanoke City police say the boy was hit by a car, in front of Pure gas station on 10th street this evening.
    Police believe the boy had a problem with his shoe, he stopped, and was hit.
    Investigators say the car didn’t have enough time to avoid the accident.
    The child is in the hospital, but is expected to be okay.
    The incident is under investigation, no charges have been filed at this time.
