BB&T bank robbed in Salem

Salem Police are searching for a bank robber.
Officers tell us a man walked into the BB&T in teh 200 block of South College Ave. around 9:30 a.m. Monday morning, and handed a teller a note that demanded money. Police add that the note also read he was armed.
The man took the money, and employees told police that the robber walked out toward Main Street.
The bank employees told investigators that the robber wore a white baseball cap with a blue logo, a dark green hoodie type sweatshirt with an orange logo and writing, blue sweatpants with white stripes, and sandals with white socks.

Police are not certain if this robbery is related to the bank robbery at the Stellar One branch that happened on July 2nd in Salem.
